The New Era of Credit Score Choice
Credit score choice is quickly becoming an operating reality for mortgage lenders. At Bloom, two featured speakers from VantageScore will help attendees understand the models, policies and market changes behind this transition and what lenders should prepare for now.
With more than 20 years of data-science experience, Dr. Pacheco has played a central role in designing and refining VantageScore’s credit-scoring models, including VantageScore 4.0.
Hutchinson brings nearly 30 years of housing and public-policy experience, including more than a decade at Fannie Mae and leadership of government and industry relations at Freddie Mac.
Together, they will bring both data-science and housing-policy perspectives to one of the most consequential changes facing mortgage lenders.
More speakers, industry topics and agenda details will be announced soon.
I had the opportunity to attend THRIVE this year, and WOW—what an experience! I walked away with a wealth of new ideas for originating, processing, underwriting, and funding. This event truly covers it all:
What impressed me most was how genuinely they engaged with every single person there. It truly felt like they heard me and valued me as a customer. I can’t wait to attend again in 2026.
Since the 2025 event, we have been able to fully utilize the functions of the admin and all of the tools available to us, which has allowed us a greater amount of customization on the back end. I learned so much about the system that we had not even touched the surface of, and was able to make changes right there at the event with additional help from Path staff.
I am looking forward to learning even more at Bloom!
